Can Chamfr complete vendor onboarding or AVL forms?
Learn what vendor setup information Chamfr can provide and why some supplier-quality forms may not apply to a marketplace.
Overview
Chamfr can usually provide general company information and a W-9 to support vendor setup.
Some supplier onboarding, AVL, QMS, or manufacturing questionnaires may not apply to Chamfr because Chamfr is a marketplace. Products listed on Chamfr are sold and fulfilled by suppliers on the platform. Chamfr does not manufacture products, warehouse supplier inventory, or act as the legal manufacturer for supplier-listed products.
What vendor setup information can Chamfr provide?
Chamfr can typically provide general company information needed for vendor setup, including:
- Company name
- Business address
- Contact information
- W-9
- General payment process information
If your organization needs Chamfr added as a vendor for purchasing purposes, we can help with the applicable vendor setup fields.
Can Chamfr complete supplier-quality or manufacturing questionnaires?
Chamfr can complete applicable sections of supplier onboarding forms, but some questions may need to be marked as not applicable.
Because Chamfr is a marketplace, we generally cannot complete manufacturing, QMS, production, inspection, process validation, facility, or product-quality sections as if Chamfr directly manufactures or controls the products sold by suppliers.
Supplier-specific quality questions should be directed to the supplier or manufacturer of the product being purchased.
Can Chamfr provide banking details?
Chamfr does not provide banking details for vendor onboarding.
Credit card orders can be placed through Chamfr checkout. Net terms, when available, are supported through ResolvePay. Remittance for terms payments is still associated with Chamfr, but payment account details are managed through ResolvePay.
Is Chamfr ISO certified?
Chamfr is not ISO certified.
Chamfr is a marketplace and does not directly manufacture products. Product-specific quality certifications, manufacturing certifications, or compliance documentation are supplier-specific and should be requested from the supplier when needed.
What if my company requires Chamfr to be on an AVL?
If your company needs Chamfr added as an approved vendor for purchasing purposes, we can provide applicable company information and a W-9.
If your AVL process requires manufacturer-level quality information, supplier audits, QMS surveys, or product-specific certifications, those requirements may not apply to Chamfr’s marketplace role and may need to be reviewed with the actual supplier or manufacturer.
What if I need product documentation or certifications?
Product documentation is supplier-specific and may vary by product, supplier, and order type.
For supplier-specific certificates, quality documents, datasheets, or compliance information, use Contact Seller on the product page before placing the order. For many sample or small marketplace orders, documentation may be limited to a basic certificate of conformance when available.
